The Greenville Ballet School is pleased to welcome our newest dance teacher. Jennifer Lynn Arnold will be joining our faculty to teach Pre-Ballet and Elementary Ballet this year. She just moved to Greenville, and is a professional dancer, singer, and actress who was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Charleston, West Virginia.
Jennifer was a company member of the River City Youth Ballet Ensemble where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern from childhood through high school and recently served as a dance teacher. During her training years, she continued her ballet studies at summer programs and workshops at North Carolina School of the Arts, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Washington School of Ballet, and with David Howard and Duncan Noble. Later, she continued her education and is a Cum Laude graduate of High Point University in North Carolina with a B.A. in Performance Theatre and minors in Music and Communications. Jennifer continued to study dance in NYC at Steps and Broadway Dance Center.
Dance Teacher has Extensive Performing Experience
She has performed with Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Fiddlehead Theatre, and West Virginia Public Theatre in shows including Chicago (Hunyak), Cats (Rumpleteazer), Catch Me If You Can (Cheryl Ann), Show Boat (Ellie U.S./Kim U.S.), and Dames at Sea (Joan). She has also appeared on television in Smash, Very Good Girls, and Blood Ties, and toured the world for 8 months as a soloist on the Silversea Luxury Cruise Line. Some of her favorite roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Bambi in Curtains, Ulla in The Producers, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. In addition, Jennifer is a proud Equity/SAG-AFTRA member.
