We hope that everyone had a Happy Holiday and we wish you all the best in the New Year!

As we start the second half of the school year, we wanted to thank the Nutcracker cast and let eveHaoppy New Yearryone know about the performance opportunities coming up this spring.

THANK YOU NUTCRACKER CAST!

A heartfelt “thank you” to all the participants and all the volunteers who helped both on stage and off and enabled us to produce two successful performances. After Mr. Kuharsky’s accident we have many people to thank for their extra efforts, selflessness, and sacrifices that helped us pull this off under extenuating circumstances.

All the dancers, from the smallest Soldier, to the senior dancers working through injuries and bleeding toes, did a great job and we are proud of you all! Thank you.

For those involved for the first time, we hope you were pleasantly surprised by the scope and quality of our production and we look forward to having you involved in the annual production for many years to come.

JOIN OUR PERFORMANCE CLASSES FOR THE SPRING SHOWCASE!

Although everyone will be performing their classroom exercises in their uniforms for our Spring Showcase on May 16 at Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium, we hope all students in Levels 1 to 6 will want to have the special opportunity to perform an additional costumed piece which will be specially created for them this spring. Our Performance Classes begin January 14 and we hope you will enroll in the class for your level. If you were in The Nutcracker, we will assume that you will continue your enrollment unless we hear from you otherwise. Performance Classes times for each Ballet level will be as follows:

Level 1     Tuesday Waltz of the Flowers5:30-6:30 pm

Level 2     Tuesday 5:00-6:00 pm

Level 3     Monday 6:30-7:30 pm

Level 4     Thursday 7:00-8:00 pm

Level 5     Monday 7:30-8:30 pm

Level 6     Monday and/or Tuesday and/or Thursday 7:30-8:30 pm

The Spring Showcase is Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 pm, with a rehearsal at the theater on Tuesday, May 14 between 4:00 and 10:00 pm (exact times assigned later, younger students earlier).

We hope you will provide this wonderful opportunity for your child this spring.
