Halloween at Greenville Ballet School! The advanced class made Mr. K play scrabble. With a few hints he came up with one of his own famous quotes…When ballet steps end in 5th position over and over he often says “One fifth, two fifth, red fifth, blue fifth” and asks students whether they know that Dr. Seuss book. Younger students often say, “No, it’s fish!”, to which Mr. K says, “Oh, I must have had the ballet version.” Other costumes showed up on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

Care Bears . . . stare!

Mr. Kuharsky is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School. He was an apprentice with the Joffrey Ballet in New York, a principal dancer with The Atlanta Ballet, and a soloist with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal. He has directed the dance programs at the SC Governor's School for the Arts and the Greenville County Schools' Fine Arts Center.
