Rehearsal Day – Tuesday, May 14

  • Please arrive on time (See schedule on reverse)
  • Enter through the front doors of the auditorium.
  • Sit downstairs in the front of the auditorium seating, in your assigned area.
  • Arrive with hair done (Hair should be in a high bun with all loose hair pinned up and sprayed).  
  • No make-up necessary today.
  • Come dressed in practice clothes. There is no place to change back stage.
  • Rest rooms are upstairs in balcony area

Performance Day – Thursday, May 16

  • Please arrive on time (See schedule on reverse)
  • Be dressed in practice clothes.
  • Make-up and hair already done (all students should wear foundation, powder, blush, red lipstick, and optional light eye make-up. Hair should be in a high bun with all loose hair pinned up and sprayed.)
  • Those not in Performance Classes, please go to the balcony and sit in your assigned seats.
  • Performance Classes go back stage and get into your costumes (which usually go over your practice clothes).

Tickets

Tickets will be available at the door for $15 each CASH ONLY, exact amount appreciated. We encourage you to buy your tickets in advance at the studio. Everyone must have a ticket including young children and volunteers (not including performers).

Arrival times Tuesday, May 14:

Pre-Ballet & Elementary Ballet

         4:00 pm Dancers Arrive, we hope to be done by 6:00 pm

Ballet Levels 2/3/4

         5:00 pm Dancers Arrive, we hope to be done by 7:00 pm

Pointe / Levels 5 and 6 / Modern

         6:00 pm Dancers Arrive, we will be done by 10:00 pm

Arrival Times Thursday, May 16

4:30 pm Theater Opens

5:00 pm   Levels 2/3/4/5/6 Dancers Arrive
5:15 pm   Levels 5/6, Modern – Warm-Up on Stage
5:45 pm   Pre-Ballet & Level 1 Ballet Dancers Arrive
6:00 pm   House Opens
6:30 pm   Performance

About the Author: Andrew Kuharsky

Mr. Kuharsky is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School. He was an apprentice with the Joffrey Ballet in New York, a principal dancer with The Atlanta Ballet, and a soloist with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal. He has directed the dance programs at the SC Governor's School for the Arts and the Greenville County Schools' Fine Arts Center.
